At 88, Washington author, psychotherapist and arts benefactor
Evelyn Stefansson Nef still skitters down the steps of her four-
story Georgetown house in heels, pumps iron with a personal trainer
three times a week and can do 150 sit-ups. But she also believes in
having her affairs in order. Thus her warmhearted, tell-all book,
"Finding My Way: The Autobiography of an Optimist" (Francis Press).
And her decision to bequeath to the National Gallery of Art the
splendid Chagall mosaic in her garde...
