Sex Offender Charged in Death of Md. Girl, 14; Suspect Arrested in Pa., After Calvert High Freshman Found Slain in Her Home

A 19-year-old registered sex offender who was released from jail
in April was arrested Monday night in the slaying of a 14-year-old
female relative who lived near him in Calvert County, authorities
said yesterday.
The suspect, Edward L. Frostbutter, who served 16 months in jail
for the sexual molestation of an 8-year-old boy, is charged with
murder in the death of Cindy Storm, a Calvert High School freshman
found dead Monday morning in her home in the community of Chesapeake
Beach, about 35 miles southeast of Washington.
