It was almost as if police found two different people when they discovered a body jammed into an abandoned refrigerator near Castle Rock.

There was the Michael Adamson prosecutors talked about. That generous 42-yearold foolishly took in Jennifer L. Wend and gave her gifts, drugs and cash. He was killed Christmas Day when she wanted him out of the picture. It took police three weeks to find his remains.

Then there was the Adamson Wend's attorneys talked about as they finished up her trial on first-degree murder in 4th Judicial District Court on Friday.
