BLESSED ART/ Iconography exhibit displays the beauty behind Orthodox theology

PUEBLO - Icons may not seem like the most fruitful subject for a series of art exhibitions. As beautiful as they can be, these religious images fall within relatively narrow boundaries, solidified by centuries of tradition.

But four related exhibits at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center lend broader meaning to the idea of iconography.
