The Stanislavsky Theater Studio and its subsidiary, Synetic Theater, are hovering on the brink of divorce. The two small companies, which began as one in 1998, had an artistic split in March 2002 but continued to share resources and perform at the Church Street Theater. Stanislavsky Theater Studio (STS) was the umbrella producing organization for both troupes.
