THE church school where Tony Blair sent his two oldest sons has been given special permission to ignore Government rules on admissions.

Education Secretary Ruth Kelly has said the London Oratory can carry on using controversial selection interviews.

Her department barred the practice less than two years ago, to stop schools 'creaming off ' the brightest pupils.

The Roman Catholic Oratory is believed to be the only state school in the country to have flouted the ban.
