HYPNOTISM may be a new treatment for hot flushes.
Doctors who treated a group of women with the condition with
sessions of hypnotism say that the frequency and severity of the
flushes were significantly reduced. The length of time that each
attack lasted was also cut.
All the women in the group were treated with four sessions over a
month to see what effect it had.
