Colorado Springs generates $1.6B in exports

Colorado Springs continues to be a big player in the state's
export production with an estimated $1.6 billion in goods shipped
outside of El Paso County and the United States in 2005.
But the $1.6 billion figure - which represents about 25 percent of
the state's $6.8 billion in total exports - is simply an estimate
because only statewide totals are available and not numbers specific
to cities.
