Tax reform plan unlikely to attract business, economists say
|
Although proponents have claimed an overhaul of Oklahoma's tax
code - specifically a dramatic reduction in the income tax - could
attract new business to the state, a panel of local economists
disagrees.
Those officials, speaking at a University of Central Oklahoma
event, said the latest tax reform plan submitted will probably do
little to attract new business to Oklahoma and could even drive
companies out of the state.
