'Journey' rings up fitting end

Patricia Nugent was amazed by the message left on her answering
machine.
A woman from Hempstead High School wanted to speak with a
Patricia Nugent who graduated from the school in 1978.
The woman said she had something that belonged to Nugent, and she
had been looking for her for two years.
"I've now entered the twilight zone," Nugent said.
The California resident was indeed the woman who graduated from
Hempstead in 1978.
One year after graduation, however, she lost her high school
class ring. Nugent hoped against all hope that, after 31 years, the
high school had somehow found her ring.
