Tale of abandoned Saint Bernard ends happily
|
The Saint Bernard abandoned near Hingham's Accord Pond last month
wasn't able to help police locate his missing owner, but he has
sniffed out his own happy ending.
The dog was recently adopted and is adjusting to his new life,
according to his new owners, a family in a suburb west of Boston.
"I'm sure he was confused at first, but when he came here, he
quickly warmed up," said the new owner, who asked not to be
identified to protect the family's privacy.
The 6-year-old dog was found wet and alone near Accord Pond on
June 17. A gray-haired man described as being in his 70s was
