San Carlos poised for another deep run at DiMaggio series

Last year, San Carlos advanced all the way to the championships of the Joe DiMaggio World Series.

This year, Manager Tony Cooper Sr. has 11 players back from that team, and early results suggest San Carlos is fully capable of another deep postseason run.

Behind an 11-0 road win over the San Francisco Barbarians in a Peninsula Joe DiMaggio South Division contest on Wednesday, San Carlos improved to 5-0.
