Tides Rollo focusing on track

Track and field has taken a backseat to football for Sherman High junior Jake Rollo this spring, but that will change starting today. Rollo will compete in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes and the long jump at the Class AA Region 4 meet, which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at University of Charleston Stadiums Laidley Field. It will be only the fifth meet for the three-sport athlete, whose March and April weekends have been consumed by football camps and recruiting visits.
