The vibe: Priaia del Fuoco hides away at the end of the Capo
Vaticano coast, the tip of the bunion on the toe of southern
Calabria. Accessible only by boat or by a very precipitous path, this
rocky cove has pashminasoft sand, shelves very steeply and is gently
lapped by aquamarine waters. Most couples arrive by motorboat, spend
a couple of hours lazing on the sand before heading off for a late
lunch at one of the many fish restaurants in neighbouring
