There has never been a better time than the present for Northern Ireland residents to brush up on their knowledge of Saint Patrick, according to the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.

The loss in value of the pound against the euro has forced more people to think about travelling closer to home when it comes to booking a short break, and with many people planning to make this weekend a long one to celebrate St Patrick's Day, NITB is suggesting that we take time to find out more about our patron saint.
