MAVERICKS 116, BUCKS 96 Dallas takes control early and rolls to decisive victory

Dallas -- If the Dallas Mavericks had payback on their minds, their mission was accomplished as they built a 24-point halftime lead and went on to clobber the Milwaukee Bucks, 116-96, Wednesday night at American Airlines Center.

In the first meeting of the teams this season, the Bucks walloped the Mavericks, 133-99, on Jan. 21 at the Bradley Center. It is the largest margin of victory for the Bucks this season and largest margin of defeat for Dallas.

In Wednesday's game, Dallas shot 58.3%, out-rebounded the Bucks, 28-12, and overcame an early offensive barrage by Bucks forward Charlie ...
