South Sevier looking Ram-tough in 2A
|
Basketball is the one sport that occupies the highest spot in the
sports pantheon at South Sevier. Players and coaches alike
understand that being an annual state title contender is what the
local community has come to expect.
"It's a funny thing," Rams coach Scott Hunt said. "Some schools
are football schools. Some schools are wrestling schools. We've been
fortunate here at South Sevier to be a basketball school."
The Rams have done a good job of continuing that winning
tradition.
At 20-1, South Sevier owns 2A's best overall record. The Rams won
14 straight games before losing to defending 2A ...
