Clerkenwell whose Spanish-Moroccan cuisine has spawned two cookbooks
and can be described as very Moorish.
'How's your palate?' someone enquires, as the woman glides by.
'Scorched-earth, darling,' she replies merrily, her eyes intently
regarding the battalions of wine glasses assembled on the bar. 'Ready
for some major irrigation.'
