Centaurus Could Sell Atos Origin Stake, but Not Now

PARIS (Reuters) - Hedge Fund firm Centaurus is likely to sell its minority stake in French IT services group Atos Origin, but not in the immediate future, sources close to the matter said on Monday [Dec. 8].

Centaurus and Atos Origin declined to comment on a report in La Tribune newspaper saying the hedge fund was considering selling its remaining 6.66% stake in Atos Origin due to the financial crisis.

A source close to Centaurus told Reuters the fund had no such plan at the moment, without entirely closing the door on a sale of the stake in the future.
