Academy hosts physics lecture
Dr. James Gates, director of the Center for String and Particle
Theory at the University of Maryland, will speak on "SUSY and the
Lords of the Ring: Supersymmetry Theory," tonight at the Naval
Academy.
Dr. Gates is past president of the National Society of Black
Physicists.
The lecture, sponsored by the academy's Division of Mathematics
and Science, is open to the public and is set to start at 7:15 p.m.
in Mahan Hall. The talk marks the 28th annual Michelson Memorial
