When Crown Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia wants to look at his ancestral home in Belgrade, he has to call up www.royalfamily.org - the website where photographs of the palace in all its ornate grandeur are lovingly displayed. This is the closest he has ever got to the Old Palace. But today, when he returns to Belgrade to congratulate the new President, he hopes to see it with his own eyes. And maybe, given the recent dramatic changes in the former Yugoslavia, he will soon be living there as King.
