FBI refuses to release secret Lockerbie report
|
THE FBI is refusing to release secret intelligence reports
revealing details of the Middle Eastern terrorist suspected of
making the Lockerbie bomb. The files - marked top secret and held at
the FBI headquarters in Washington DC - would destroy the theory
that Libya was behind the attack on PanAm flight 103, which killed
270 people in December 1988.
Top-level intelligence sources say the files comprise debriefing
notes taken by FBI agents from Marwan Khreesat, a Jordanian bomb-
maker. The files detail how Khreesat was behind a Palestinian
terrorist cell operating in West Germany just months ...
