National Archives to Display Emancipation Proclamation in January

WASHINGTON, Dec. 30 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Due to the overwhelming
response to the display of the Emancipation Proclamation in January
1993, the National Archives again will display all five pages of the
original Emancipation Proclamation in the Rotunda Jan. 13 through
Jan. 20, 1994.
This occassion marks only the second time since 1979 that
the Emancipation Proclamation has been on public display at
the National Archives.
The exhibition will be free and open to the public. Visitors
may view the document in a free-standing case located in the
National Archives Rotunda, at Constitution Avenue ...
