ISN'T history strange? Just a few days ago the world dropped
everything to read witchfinder general Kenneth Starr's account of
where and when Bill Clinton dropped his breeks.
Today we find ourselves celebrating the 500th anniversary of the
death of Tomas de Torquemada, synonymous with cruelty thanks to his
role as founder of the Spanish Inquisition. Weird, eh?
So if ever the White House needed proof that God was a Democrat,
they have it in this happy congruence of history past and history
