People who live near the Ashland Oil refinery in Catlettsburg, Ky., breathe air that is so polluted it creates "unacceptable" health risks, according to a new federal government report. Residents of the Kenova area of Wayne County live with unsafe levels of benzene, arsenic, chromium and dichloromethane. A dozen other chemicals in the air also create unacceptable health risks, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency report.
