Naches' Jeff Jefferson and Ellensburg's Mel Shenyer both made it to the winner's circle Saturday night as the local veterans split the twin 40-lap Late Model main events at Yakima Speedway.

In the first feature, Jefferson took his fast qualifying time (19.401) all the way to the checkered flag.
