Yakima Speedway -- Jeff Jefferson Wins Main Event

Despite starting in 10th place because of a 12-car invert,
Naches' Jeff Jefferson kept his focus on the front of the pack and
steered his way to victory in Saturday's Late Model main event at
Yakima Speedway.
Two Yakima drivers - Ken Olsen and Rick Hargraves - finished
second and third, respectively, in the 75-lap featured race, the
fourth of the season.
Jefferson had moved up to second on lap 30 behind Chet Beaman of
Yakima, but on a move to overtake the leader he slipped into the
dirt and fell back. That allowed Olsen to dart through an opening
and into the lead.
