Why are people prejudiced? This is a question that has plagued human beings for centuries. Is it fear or hatred? Is it a learned process or just insecurity?

Most people know what it means to be prejudiced. In short, a judgment is made about a person or group of people before anything is known about them, or enough about them to begin forming an opinion based on interacting with them. Something is assumed - and a lot of people know the saying about what happens when we assume.
