Allegation of Chinese "Encroachment" on Indian Territories Groundless: Spokesman

The allegation of frequent encroachment of Chinese armed forces
on Indian territories is totally groundless, a Chinese Foreign
Ministry spokesman said here Thursday.
Spokesman Sun Yuxi made the remark at a regular press briefing in
response to a question regarding an article in Britain's
Intelligence Digest that alleged the situation in the Sino-Indian
border areas has got tense.
He said the border troops of China and India have maintained
stability in the border regions and enhanced mutual understanding
and friendship by handling all border affairs timely, appropriately
and amicably.
