Macao to Establish Special Group to Investigate Organized Crimes

Macao Governor Vasco Rocha Vieira said that his government plans to set up a special working group with the Public Procurator's Office to investigate organized crimes.

Vieira said on Monday night after returning from Portugal that a special working group will be established under the Public Prosecutor's Office to specially handle the prosecution of organized crimes and other violent crime cases.

"It shows the Government is determined to fight against organized crimes, and is capable of making relative efforts," the Macao Daily News quoted the governor as saying. He did not specify when it will ...
