THE ARTS REVIEWS: Jazz - DR JOHN DOMINION THEATRE LONDON
The Independent - London
; THINGS CAN get a little mawkish when Dr John forsakes his native New Orleans R&B and funk for jazz - witness the soft-centred standards anthology In a Sentimental Mood - so it's a relief that Duke Elegant, his recent Duke Ellington tribute album, does not follow its brief too seriously.
