Rebel with a cause
|
AFTER going through several changes in names and band line-up,
four young men have opted for the name, Rebel, to unleash their
passion for music and to scream their determination to make it in
the industry.
Although the biggest challenge in the band's early years was to
justify their preference for rock and roll, it has since settled for
rock and heavy metal.
Band leader Syahrul Nizwan Musa (Syah), 23, the founder of the
original band said they experimented with rock and roll when the
band was known as Native Spirit and competed in singing contests in
the Klang Valley.
