THE Football Association of Ireland will lodge an official
complaint with UEFA after the wild scenes in Turkey which followed
their luckless exit from the Euro 2000 Championship, beaten on the
technicality of the away goals rule.
As the Turks went crazy at the final whistle, the goalless
stalemate ensuring their appearance in Holland and Belgium for the
finals next summer following last Saturday's 1-1 draw in Dublin,
