West Glamorgan bowlers win sixth Welsh county title

West Glamorgan regained the Llewellyn Trophy after winning a record sixth Senior County Championship final at Llandrindod Wells Bowls Club, but the under-25 side couldn't match their elders and were well beaten in the semi-finals of the Welsh Under-25 Double Rink Championship.

The senior side went into their match against South Glamorgan with both counties having won the title on five occasions, and there was little to choose between the sides at halfway, with the South leading by a couple of shots.
