Donation keeps beds open at hospice

HOSPITAL furniture left over from a trade fair is helping to keep beds open at a hospice.

Saint Catherine's Hospice, Scarborough- which also treats people from East Yorkshire - is receiving four NHS-standard beds, four patient chairs, and over-bed tables worth Pounds 8,800 from Kingspan, a construction company based at Sherburn, near Scarborough.
