Plymouth Devils' chairman Mike Bowden has omitted Tom Brown from his side for tonight's top-of-the-table Conference clash against Scunthorpe Saints at St Boniface Arena (7.30pm).

Brown has been an integral part of the Devon side's line-up over the past two seasons and has yet to miss a meeting this term. But, after scoring just one point in four rides, in last Saturday's 47- 45 Knock-Out Cup quarter-final defeat at Weymouth, Bowden has decided to rest the Welshman.

Brown's place goes to Kyle Hughes, who has been riding for Sheffield in the Premier League this season.
