$25,000 reward offered for theft of safe from house

VANDALIA -- If you know who broke into a home and stole a safe full of cash, jewelry and family heirlooms, there might be $25,000 for you if you can help solve the case.

The burglary victim is offering the reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction, Vandalia Communications Director Rich Hopkins said, and an additional reward may be available if the 177-pound safe is returned unopened.
