It was an announcement everyone at Castle High School wished was
an April Fool's joke.
Loretto Mooney, one of the longest-tenured teachers at the
school, had decided to retire, and as the shocking news circulated
around the halls she called her professional home for more than
three decades, Mooney couldn't help but second-guess herself.
