Voters registration smooth in Tanzania's Pemba North region
DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- Voters registration went
underway smoothly on Saturday in the Pemba North region of Zanzibar
as part of Tanzania's national permanent voters registration in
preparation for next year's general elections.
All the 52 registration stations in the region reported no acts of
violence on the first day of the registration process, according to a
statement issued by the Zanzibar Electoral Commission.
