Gene Kelly Awards recognize top young thespians

Pittsburgh Schenley High School's "All Shook Up," Central
Catholic High School's "Beauty and the Beast" and Pine-Richland High
School's "Seussical" each took home best musical awards in their
budget category at Saturday's Gene Kelly Awards show.
This 18th edition of the Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High
School Musical Theater attracted a near-capacity audience of
students, their parents and well-wishers to the Benedum Center,
Downtown.
