Strasburg Names Park Committee ; Township Announces Members Of New Nine-Person Commission

After weeks of interviewing prospective candidates, Strasburg Township officials have named appointees to its new nine-member Park Committee.

This is a good mix. We have a nice cross-section of ages, interests and strengths, township secretary Judy Willig said Monday. We have some folks from Refton, the community closest to the new park, plus some folks with an interest in landscaping and even a local historian.

The plan now is to move forward slowly so we don't make any mistakes. We're not trying to reinvent the wheel.
