Walkers lined up for prizes ; More than 150 readers have committed themselves to the final leg of the Great South West Walk. After the hugely successful campaign last year, which saw more than 1,000 readers join legs of the 630-mile South West Coast Path in August, one final event has been set.

More than 150 readers have committed themselves to the final leg of the Great South West Walk. After the hugely successful campaign last year, which saw more than 1,000 readers join legs of the 630- mile South West Coast Path in August, one final event has been set.

More than pounds175,000 was raised for charity last year and it is hoped the final walk will help the campaign reach its target of pounds200,000.

All of the money will be shared among three charities: the RNLI, the Wooden Spoon and Macmillan Cancer Support.
