Houston Wing Commits to Lobos ; 6-8 Staff says UNM is the 'Perfect Fit for Me'

He came, he saw -- he committed.
Matt Staff, a 6-foot-8 wing from Houston told the Journal on
Sunday he will play his college basketball at the University of New
Mexico in 2009-10. He informed Lobo coach Steve Alford of that
earlier in the day.
"He was pretty excited," Staff said of Alford's reaction to the
news. "I'm excited. New Mexico is just the perfect fit for me."
By NCAA rule, Alford cannot comment on a recruit until the
studentathlete signs an official national ...
