Lincolnshire fields a team for two inter-county competitions; one is the Northern Counties League which is held at a Yorkshire venue in order to make travelling more central for the participating counties, and the other is the Midland Counties League.

This one involves far more travelling and it has been known for the Lincolnshire team to have to play against Gloucestershire at Cheltenham!

That is a long way to go to play about 32 hands of bridge.
