Plymouth's bid to host the next Transat yacht race has the
backing of its competitors, according to British skipper Sam Davies.
Sam, who is competing in this year's event on board her Open 60
yacht Roxy, said the word on the pontoons is the event should stay
in Plymouth.
"It's a great place," the 33-year-old said.
"I doubt very much it will be the last time it is staged here.
"All the British and French skippers and their teams have been
saying the same thing.
