GETTING to the north-west coast of Majorca used to be tricky. In
1929, poet and I Claudius author Robert Graves took three days to
reach the Mediterranean island from England and a few more to travel
across the Serra de Tramuntana mountains Majorca's lush backbone
to his eventual home in Deia. A vintage train dating from 1912 still
runs today from the capital Palma to Soller Town but even up to the
