Hundreds battle to save post office

More than 400 people have signed a petition to save a much-loved post office from closure.

Knypersley Post Office, in Tunstall Road, Knypersley, is one of 26 branches in the region earmarked for closure under a Government review.

The post office is in a general convenience store, which managers say is well used by people of all ages.

A public consultation is being held on its future, with a final decision to be announced on June 9.
