Feature: Myanmar water festival reaches peak of pleasure in Yangon

YANGON, April 16 (Xinhua) -- The four-day Myanmar water festival reached its peak of pleasure on Monday, the last day of the festival, with people generally using ice water to throw on each other in the city of Yangon in the afternoon.

The ice-water throwing in some places intensified as it approached the end of the festival in the evening.

Almost every water throwing pandal here, big and small, were crowded with revelers jumping and shouting with joy as songs and dances were being performed at stages adjacent to the pandals ...
