Zanzibar to move senior government officials to Pemba
DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- The president of Zanzibar has
ordered all his deputy ministers and permanent secretaries to move
their offices to Pemba in an attempt to ease the political tension in
the Indian Ocean archipelago, local media reported on Friday.
Local English newspaper The Guardian quoted Zanzibari House of
Representative Clerk Ramadhan Muombwa Mwinyi as saying President Aman
