Vietnam wants border with Cambodia to become trade, economic zones

PHNOM PENH, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam wanted to build peaceful border with Cambodia, which could eventually become trade and economic zones to benefit both peoples, a senior Cambodian official told reporters here on Tuesday.

Kom Kosal, advisor to President of the Cambodian National Assembly Heng Samrin, conveyed the Vietnamese message to Heng Samrin on Monday.
